it has been announced that the switch version will be released on september 17th!
the ps4 version should release at a later date and i will make a blog post about it when i can

bad news
castle crashers wasn't mentioned at all during the direct
no surprise release and no release date announced
at this point it feels like the switch release is never gonna happen because summer is almost over and it has a summer 2019 release window
i know it will release eventually but its hard to believe it will anymore when its been 5 months with no updates other than "were almost done, were at the final stages of development" for the last month or so

a new rumor which is super important
there is a rumor that 2 indie games will be surprise dropped during the indie direct on the switch on monday as well as a new microsoft indie game (which i wanna say is battleblock theater but thats unlikely since the behemoth dont have plans for it currently)
castle crashers is an indie game that was announced for a switch and ps4 summer release and since its still summer (im pretty sure) its a huge possibility that it will be released or at least get a release date announced on monday which is 2 days from now
